Abelssoft’s MovieCut provides support for a very long list of video formats. WMV, AVI, FLV, MP4, SWF, MOV, RM, MKV, MPEG, OGG, and many other video formats are supported. What does this mean? It means that no matter what video file you have, you can load it into MovieCut. You can do so by dragging and dropping the video onto MovieCut’s interface or by using the “import new video” function.

Multiple video editing functions are offered by Abelssoft’s MovieCut tool. After you’ve loaded a video into this video editing tool, you can access the following functions: rotate left, rotate right, keep selected range, trim selected range; fade in, fade out; adjust brightness, adjust contrast; extract frame; add music, add an audio recording; save locally or upload to the web.

The first time you launch MovieCut, you will be invited to watch a video tutorial. You will not be directed to a webpage that hosts said video tutorial; your default media player will launch and you will get to watch it. If the video tutorial is not enough to help you figure MovieCut out, then go check out the comprehensive manual that accompanies this video editing tool. It does a proper job of presenting everything that MovieCut can do.

MovieCut is free to use for an evaluation period of 30 days. A prompt will show up every time you launch the trial version; this prompt will tell you how many days are left in your trial and will invite you to get the full version.

MovieCut provides support for tons of video formats and, from a good looking and user friendly interface, provides easy access to multiple video editing functions. It can prove to be a very useful video editing tool.

Pros

There’s nothing complicated about installing MovieCut on a Windows PC. The dark-themed interface is good looking and quite easy to use. View a video tutorial, check out a detailed manual. Lots of video formats are supported. Load a video into MovieCut and edit it. Save your work locally or upload it to the web.

Cons

Trial limitations: 30-day trial, nag screen.
